Where would you like to dive today?!
There is nothing I like better than looking around the dive deck on any of our boats, just after we slip the mooring! Watch the divers, busy setting up their scuba equipment, the student divers looking over to check their gear is correct. Of course it is! Just pre dive nerves! Destination? Seahorse or Shark hunt?!! The sense of anticipation grows as all are called to the boat briefing and a description of the dive sites for today. Then it's down to transit routine, take a coffee, read a book, setup the camera! Must make sure it has new batteries, check the strobe too. All done and time to find a place on the sun deck to relax or meet new friends. Instructors and student divers go over the days scuba lessons and talk about the dives for today. The call goes out, "Dive site in 15 minutes"! No rush, divers don their wetsuits and equipment, tank valves are turned on and checks carried out. The skipper throttles back the engine, another adventure begins..... we're going DIVING!!!
Hi there, and welcome to Manta Point Ao Nang, a first cass Dive Centre. From our day boats Enterprise 1, Sanuk 2 or with a private charter, you can now dive the best sites our region has to offer with a new range of exciting diving packages. When I opened this shop, I thought of all the good scuba diving operators I had dived with in the past and what I enjoyed. Just as important, what I did not like and what was just plain unsafe! So, no making you walk to the dive shop for a cattle truck ride to the boat, no packing divers in at 50 or 60 at a time. Divers with their families are welcome, come and snorkel or just enjoy the sea air! Our dive centre is now the place to get all your diving and snorkelling needs under one roof! We also have for you a liveaboard option, for those who want to enjoy all of our beautiful Andaman Sea!
We offer a wide range of PADI courses from beginner to Pro and aim to create a pressure free environment where you can enjoy your experience. Whether it is your first tentative exploration into our beautiful underwater world or advanced topics to broaden your skills or to take your place amongst your new peers as a PADI Dive Master professional – everything is available, just make your choice!
From our new retail outlet, now situated in the main tourist area, you can easily find us. The shop will be stocked with the latest scuba equipment and gear from Aqua Lung. Check out our retail pages on this site.
As our contribution towards a Green Planet, we run our business on Bio Diesel. Both of our boats, longtail boat, mini bus and pickup truck at use this green fuel.
Manta Point is a member of the SSS Recompression Chamber Network.
The country around Ao Nang beach and the adjoining beach, Nopparat Thara is just stunning! A feast of stark Karst limestone cliffs and lush green forests.
