Open Water Diver - this is it! Ready to get your PADI? With this certification you become a diver who can plan and go dive with your family, friends and new buddies from all over the world. This one opens the door!

The easy understandable step by step course teaches diving in simple terms, focussing on fun and safety. Beside classroom sessions, videos and practical modules conducted in the swimming pool ensure that students are well prepared for their first open water dives at sea. The open water dives are carried out on a Phi Phi trip or a visit to our local islands. Our Manta Point Ao Nang dive team will be very happy to welcome you as a diver in the PADI family.

By they way! If you feel a bit nervous about learning to dive as part of a group, or you just want to be alone or amongst friends, why not ask for our Premium Service? You will have your own PADI Instructor for your course and go at your pace.

The Knowledge Development part of this course is available on line, so why not save a day of your holiday and instead of being in the classroom, get out and dive!

For those who like classes and want to start before coming on vacation, no problem! Find your local PADI dive centre back home and complete your classroom work and/or your pool dives. Then when you visit Manta Point you will complete your open water training dives to achieve your certification. This is called the referral process. Don't let any excuse keep you out of the water!
