Emergency First Response - this course normally is taught in two parts; Primary Care and Secondary Care. Primary care focuses on Basic Life Support with resuscitation techniques at its core Secondary Care looks at the skills you can use to help your casualty whilst awaiting the professional emergency services. With this course, there is an introduction to oxygen administration and the use of Automated External Difibrillator AED.

Rescue Diver - Ok, let's move up a gear now! This is the course that takes you outside of your comfortable world and gets you looking at what's happening around you. Your self rescue is honed, your personal skills bettered and now we learn how to deal with other divers. Besides teaching life-saving techniques at sea, stress management and self rescue techniques, this course puts emphasis on the prevention of dive accidents by learning how to recognise potential problems before they arise at an early stage. Although this course is a pre requisite for going on to Dive Master or Master Scuba Diver, this is a defining level for any diver to attain, well worth it in its own right.
The PADI Rescue Diver course consists of knowledge development with a final exam, skills development in pool sessions or open water and open water rescue scenarios where you put all those skills together.
