Ok, the Scuba Diver certification shows that you have taken classes, proved your ability to perform a wide range of basic diving skills and guess what? You can go diving! Also you can buy or rent equipment and travel the world to dive. However, this is not a full certification, when you dive you need to be supervised by a Pro, such as a Divemaster, not such a big deal.

For those of us who do not have time for the full Open Water class, maybe a little tight on holiday money, or just want to dive and let someone else call the shots, then why not go for Scuba Diver. Get in the water and DIVE!!! You can always complete the rest of the program to upgrade to Open Water Diver later.
