Koh Haa Yai is the name of one of a group of islands south of Phi Phi and west of Koh Lanta. Beautiful rock formations and clear visibility make this a must do dive site. A feature of this site is the cathedral, an enormous cavern. Enter at 18m, slowly ascend to 12m and swim through a large window into the second chamber and exit. This system has plenty of light from the huge entrances.

The Lagoon  is an area between three small islands. This area is great for open water courses and the advanced divers can explore the islands on the other side of the lagoon where they drop off to 35m or so.

Koh Haa Neua is known for its long narrow chimney that runs from 20m up to 5m in depth.

An update on these sites! The water is clear, the corals are pristine! Here I can find new balls of hard brown corals settling down to begin building new reef. Such a beautiful place. A few islands in the middle of the sea, but what a difference! Phi Phi isn't a patch on this place!!!
